In the past I have had numerous neck and back injuries that were associated with my profession as a classical guitarist. The difference between Woodstock Physical Therapy and other treatment centers is how much care you receive. Caroloyn Abedor treats me like a VIP when I go to her for therapy. She is hands-on, as opposed to hooking me up to a machine or giving me exercises and leaving me alone in the room to fend for myself (as has been my experience with other physical therapists). She shows she cares because she is always there to help me with my pain. Woodstock Physical Therapy is the place to go when you need help with your body.

I have been a client of Woodstock Physical Therapy since 2000, after I had my first hip replacement. I've since had my second hip done as well. Most importantly, I have an unusual musculoskeletal syndrome, Ehlers-Danlos. I sublux and dislocate every joint in my body all day and night, causing muscular spasms.

I need the various bones gently moved back into their proper locations and the muscle spasms manipulated manually to reduce pain, which is sometimes excruciating.

Carolyn has been a miracle worker. She has learned my body and my disorder so well that she knows exactly what I need at each appointment. I always walk out of a session in better condition than when I walked in. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have Carolyn help me with my body pain. She is a godsend.

The office staff is delightfully professional and their new gym is well equipped.

Due to the careful monitoring of my knee, following a partial knee replacement, by the excellent physical therapists at Woodstock Physical Therapy, I have made great progress. Two months following my surgery, I am able to walk without a cane or a walker, can drive my car, and walk comfortably, without limping or pain. All of this success came about through the exercise regimen they planned for me, which I do at home, as well.

What impressed me was that the exercises changed, as my knee got stronger. I so appreciated the warmth shown to me from the very moment I walked in. Unlike other physical therapy centers, this one offers privacy, where you work one on one with your therapist. The rooms offer a soothing ambiance, designed to relax their clients. And, what I valued the most is that you work with one therapist who gets to know you, over time, and so can carefully observe the progress of your knee rehabilitation. I could not have made this progress without them.
